Hi everyone,
Please contact me if you know of anyone who is interested in a neutered male, 7 year old solid blue IG. He is in need of an adult home only with either someone who is home all day, or someone who is only gone for short periods of time.
He needs time, attention, patience and LOADS of training. He is very affectionate and would make a wonderful companion for someone fitting this description.

Hello everyone!
A friend of mine at work is in need of a home for her 7 year old blue male Italian Greyhound. He is in need of a home where the owners will be able to spend more time with him that his current owner is. He is very loving, very energetic and extremely attached to "his" people.
He has been "acting out" recently due to his current owner's hectic schedule and inability to spend enough time with him. I assure you this isn't one of those cases where the owner is wanting to just "toss" him aside....the owner has some serious demands on their schedule and this is not a decision that the owner has taken lightly whatsoever.
Like most IGs, this one is extremely affectionate and attached to people. Also like most IGs, this one hasn't done so well with his housetraining.....right now he's about 80% housebroken.
He is very humorous, highly energetic, affectionate and loving. But he has been "acting out" recently, displaying some dominance issues, growling and things like that. However, he DOES GET ALONG VERY WELL with other dogs and children, and currently lives with several of each.
This IG needs an IG-experienced home, with people who understand the particular "quirks" of this breed. Basically, he needs someone who will be able to offer him more time and attention than his current owner, and someone who wouldn't mind doing some "re" training with him, such as pottying outdoors and other basic commands. He also loves his crate and crates very well, but will potty in the crate. This is something a new owner will need to re-train him with.
He is UTD on all vaccines and is neutered.
I do not have a picture of him at this time, but he is solid blue with a white chest blaze and looks very similar to my Marley Blue (which many of you have seen and met) except this IG is significantly smaller that my Marley....about half the size!
Please let me know if you or someone you know is interested in providing a new home for this little IG. The current owner has requested that I be person coordinating and making all arrangements for placement.
